Glesni

My name is Glesni, and I am the Manager of Adoption Finder Intermediary Service. I am a qualified and registered social worker with nearly 15 years of experience supporting children, young people, and families in both statutory and voluntary settings, including roles as a social worker and senior practitioner.

Over the years, I developed a deep interest in adoption and intermediary work, particularly during my time working within a regional local authority adoption agency. I witnessed firsthand the lifelong impact adoption can have on both adopted adults and birth relatives, and I felt compelled to offer more targeted, compassionate support to those affected.

This led me to establish Adoption Finder Intermediary Service, which is formally registered as an Adoption Support Agency with Care Inspectorate Wales. I hold a Degree in Social Work and a Postgraduate Certificate in Counselling Skills, which have equipped me to support individuals on what is often a very emotional and complex journey.

I am committed to offering a safe, professional, and empathetic service to help people explore their origins, reconnect with family members when possible, and find peace in their personal stories.

I believe in leaving no stone unturned when it comes to helping individuals find their relatives and uncover their family stories. Every search matters, and I approach each one with care, persistence, and respect for the emotional significance behind it.
